Most of this rather drab educational film takes place on a phony-looking nighttime forest set, where a family on a weekend camping trip discusses the role of science in their lives and its importance in education. There’s some very stiff dialogue, poor acting, and also some sexism regarding the son’s and daughter’s different ambitions. Towards the end there are montages of various science images; brief shots.
