Synopsis: The title of this film is a question all boys and girls must face
usually under circumstances that make clear thinking difficult. Research
studies indicate that most persons fall in love several times, and sometimes
one may be in love with more than one person at the same time. The idea
that instinct or some innate awareness will answer this question does not
seem adequate.

A young couple, apparently in love, double date with the boy’s older
brother and his fiance and find that there are many things that indicate
mature love. Things such as similar interests, feeling at ease with one
another, being proud of each other and then a mutual understanding of
children, religion, marriage and money are all a part of mature love.
Nora returns from a date, moved by Jack’s overtures of love but
puzzled by her own feelings. Her mother, who had been in love
several times before marrying, is able to distinguish better
between the types of immature love that she describes to Nora.
Jack’s older brother, Bob, remembers how much in love Jack has also
been with Betty, Mary, and Alice. On a double-date with Bob and
his fiancee, Jack and Nora observe the seriousness of the engaged
couple’s conversation and the ease with which they discuss such
fundamental issues as children, money, and religion.

Synopsis: A large number of teen-agers find the question “What to do on a
date?” very troublesome. Unless there is a special event to attend, such as
a party, school play, or important game, many a boy is at a loss. This film
tells a simple, natural story of a boy who didn’t know what to do on a date,
and who found out through the suggestion of a friend.

Kay had already seen the movie that Nick wanted her to attend with
him, but he still hesitated to ask her instead if she would like to go to the
community center to get things ready for the scavenger sale. However, his
friend Jeff, said that lots of couples would be there and they would all
have fun. So Nick asked Kay and she readily accepted. While there, they
found that there were many other things they would enjoy together such
as bike trips, miniature golf, etc. Presents how to find activities, how to plan dates that satisfy
both the boy and the girl, and how to make the date an entertaining
and constructive custom. Explores the variety of diversions
