ms Chaplin arguing with his wife throws a horseshoe to the
floor hitting his own foot, closes a door on his fingers and has
his leg caught in the door when his wife attempts to slam it shut

brush

ms Chaplin leaving home trips over the doormat – he picks it
up and wipes his face with it

he leaves the shop – he puts the bottle in his coat pocket

ms Mack is asked to mail a letter by a secretary – he puts it
in his coat pocket

ms Mack enters cafe for .25 cent dinner – he sits at the
counter

ms Chaplin enters the cafe doing a foot trip on the way
in…he bites piece out of doughnut of elderly man sitting at the
counter wipes his fingers on the man’s beard then picks an insect
from the beard – the elderly man leaves in a huff

ms Chaplin sits next to Mack at the counter…Mack’s noisy
soup eating causes Chaplin to put his fingers in his ears…Chaplin
shakes pepper into Mack’s face causing him to sneeze into Chaplin’s
soup…Chaplin gnaws on a large bone hiding behind his coat away
from Mack’s sneezing…Mack reaches across Chaplin for an item on
the counter and Chaplin bites his arm…Chaplin finishes bone and
throws it into Mack’s soup…they fight…Chaplin throws his soup
into Mack’s face…everyone at the counter including the counterman
get involved in the fight…Mack runs out taking Chaplin’s
coat…man in top hat looks into cafe just as Chaplin throws a pie
after Mack and gets hit in the face…Chaplin takes wrong coat and
leaves slipping as he walks out the door and falls taking the man
in the top hat with him…he gets up and pushes the man in the face
getting his hand stuck in the pie goo

ms Chaplin’s wife squeezes lots of water on clothing she
ironing then puts iron down in the puddle as she goes to the baby -
it steams…Chaplin comes in and she greets him pressing the iron
into his chest…she puts the iron on a chair and Chaplin sits on
it…she finds the trysting note in Mack’s coat pocket…she
confronts Chaplin and throws a spongeful of water in his face then
hits him over the head with the ironing board

ms Mack is comforted by his wife on a park bench – he goes for
refreshment

ms Chaplin sits on Mack’s wife’s lap then sits next to her and
tells her his problems…Chaplin’s wife and baby arrive she gives
baby to policeman to hold…she confronts Chaplin and his “tryst”
she swings her jacket at him and hits her as he ducks…Chaplin
runs and hits his head on a low tree branch…Chaplin’s wife
berates and chokes Mack’s wife then she knocks Chaplin into a trash
can and keeps swinging at him as he tries to get out

ms Mack’s wife finds the baby bottle in Mack’s coat

ms Mack comes over to comfort Chaplin’s wife and gets kicked
in the rear by Chaplin…Chaplin’s wife kicks him in the rear
pushing him into Mack and knocking Mack into the trash can…she
grabs Chaplin and shakes the hell out of him…the policeman
arrives and gives Chaplin’s wife the baby – all stand around
looking innocent…policeman leaves and Chaplin hits
Mack…Chaplin’s wife gives baby to Mack who takes it over to his
wife…she faints thinking it’s his tryst baby

ms Chaplin’s wife asks him to explain the tryst note she found
in his coat pocket he says it’s not his coat
